Holy Lama's products are made primarily from natural ingredients, avoiding the use of harsh chemicals or synthetic substances. Their personal care products are vegan, non-GMO, handmade and not tested on animals.

Wherever possible, Holy Lama uses sustainable materials for packaging. Less than 1% waste is produced during manufacturing and all waste is used as fuel or livestock feed, making the carbon footprint exceptionally low!

The raw materials used in manufacturing come primarily from local farmers in Kerala and the rest of India, building on over seven decades of strong established relationships with farmers. The business runs on the no-credit principle, which means all farmers and raw material suppliers are paid immediately. The factory pays fair wages to employees and fair prices to farmers.

Women's business
Holy Lama Naturals is recognized as a government-recognized women's business in Kerala, where over 80% of employees are women. Most come from disadvantaged backgrounds (ie widowed or abandoned by a partner).
