Selenite and satin spar
Many products on the market labeled as Selenite are actually made from satin spar. Selenite is a fairly transparent crystal, while satin spar is more white in color. The name Selenite comes from the Greek moon goddess Selene, because of the soft moon-like shimmer when exposed to light. Selenite and Satin Spar are both associated with the sixth chakra (the third eye) and the seventh chakra on the crown. Ideal for meditation, concentration and opening your higher consciousness.
