Douglas spruce, also known as Douglas fir, is an evergreen coniferous tree. The Douglas fir can grow to 60 meters or higher and be several hundred years old. Its approximately 4 cm long needles have a pleasant, aromatic scent of forest with a citrus note. It is traditionally used for colds and muscle complaints as well as to improve indoor air quality.
