The Ayurvedic black salt, also known as Kala Namak , is natural and contains many important minerals. The rock salt is mined as a mineral and the salt crystals are ground directly so that the many valuable ingredients are preserved.
It is then heated in heavy tong vessels for several hours together with valuable haritaki and amla fruits. Valuable ingredients from the fruit combine with the salt to form reddish-brown crystals - this gives the Ayurvedic black salt its unmistakable, strong character, which makes it an indispensable ingredient, especially for Asian dishes.
Use: The Ayurvedic black salt is suitable for seasoning soups, vegetable dishes, sauces and salads. In addition to normal table salt, well dosed, used and only added after cooking, it rounds off dishes in a perfect way.
