The Ayurvedic black salt, also known as Kala Namak , is natural and contains many important minerals. The rock salt is mined as a mineral and the salt crystals are ground directly so that the many valuable ingredients are preserved.
It is then heated in heavy tong vessels for several hours together with valuable haritaki and amla fruits.
