Lavender sage is also called Spanish sage or lavender-leaf sage and is obtained by steam distillation of the flowering herb. The herbaceous-smelling organic lavender sage essential oil has a stimulating, mentally strengthening, activating effect and helps to strengthen nerves in times of stress. On a physical level, it has an anti-infective and expectorant effect.

In aromatherapy it has proven particularly useful in elderly care for those with poor concentration and has been shown to be helpful in dementia and Alzheimer's disease. It is suitable as an addition to washing water or for rubbing to activate in the morning. It can also be used to scent rooms or as a scented cloth (drip 1 drop of essential oil onto healing wool).
