Quan Yin figure white

Quan Yin is the embodiment of compassion and friendship, and she can hear the cries of every living being. Quan Yin is also known as the Goddess of Mercy. She is a virgin goddess who protects women, is a patron saint of the sea, supports those who ask for help and answers every prayer.

Quan Yin is depicted holding a vase of long-life nectar. She is also often depicted with a branch of the weeping willow, known for its drooping leafy branches that hang down to the ground and through which raindrops drip like tears. It is said that Quan Yin is the representation of the same energy as Mary and Tara. She is also called “Mary of the East”.
