The special power of white sage was probably the first known to Native Americans. They used white sage to cleanse themselves and their environment of evil forces and negative energy. In addition, the sage helped them to make contact with the spirit world.

We are now also familiar with white sage. The herb is often made into incense or sold as whole sage sprigs that can be burned.

White sage has a strong, invigorating smell. Where some scents are calming or subtle, white sage is sharper and spicier. Some people have to get used to this smell. It is the perfect scent for people who enjoy spicy scents. A backflow waterfall burner is beautiful for a mystical effect with this scent.
