Tea tree organic

The tea tree is an evergreen tree and has nothing in common with the tea bush (Camellia sinensis), but is a myrtle plant native to Australia. Among the more than 300 Melaleuca varieties, only Melaleuca alternifolia produces the unique tea tree or tea tree oil. When it comes to ingredients, the content of cineole and terpinen-4-ol is primarily checked and evaluated. In general, a cineole content of less than 5% and a terpinen-4-ol content of at least 30% is a quality that combines skin-friendliness with optimal effectiveness.

Tea tree oil has a cleansing and refreshing effect. It provides quick relief from insect bites and itching and helps to speed up swelling. Effective in treating skin blemishes and pimples.
