Stone pine, also known as Swiss stone pine, is an evergreen coniferous tree native to the Alps. The stone pine can grow up to 25 meters high and be 1,000 years old. Its wood has an intense scent and is used as furniture wood and for carvings. Stone pine is used in natural medicine for cold and muscle problems and to improve indoor air quality.
